During their February 2 meeting, the Orange County
School Board approved the
2010-2011 school calendar. Faced with
uncertainty in the states provision of waivers, the
Board adopted a post labor day start. Orange County
Public Schools will begin the 2010-11 school year on
September 7, 2010.
Noted highlights of the 2010-2011 school calendar
are:
Eight make up days have been designated with no use
of bank time.
Student Early Dismissal has been defined as,
“Students will be dismissed from school two hours
early.”
Graduation will be June 11, 2011 with the last day
for all other students June 14, 2011.
